TRX Face Pull – Mid To Upper Back And Shoulder Exercise
The face pull is one of my favourite accessory training exercises for developing strength and conditioning of the posterior shoulder and back musculature. The aim is to externally rotate through the shoulders with your arms at or near 90 degrees parallel to the floor. In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy performing a TRX Face Pull. The TRX is a great training tool as one can progress and regress the exercise by changing their position relative to the ground to make it easier or more challenging to pull yourself up against gravity.
