The Turkish Get Up

The Turkish Get Up is one of those great all over body exercises that requires a combination of mobility, stability and motor control.  There is absolutely no part of the body that isnt required to be working in the get up.  The other great thing about the get up is that it can be broken down into segments and these segments can be trained, the get up can be used with bodyweight as part of a movement prep drill, the get up can be used for rehab from various musculoskeletal injuries, the get up can be used to build whole body strength.
