The Box Squat
The box squat is one of my go to strength and conditioning exercises for the lower body because it is great for building posterior chain strength, as well as being a great exercise for those who have trouble squatting due to knee issues. In the image below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a bodyweight box squat and loaded squat. We have selected a box squat height that allows the individual to perform it efficiently and with sound technique through the lower body and spine.
