Elevated Kettlebell Deadlift

The deadlift is a great exercise to perform and often it will be left out of the program because an individual may not have the necessary range of motion to perform it from the floor.  From my point of view, I dont think this is necessarily a reason to leave such a great exercise out of ones movement prep or main training program.  The deadlift is a great exercise as it works the individuals posterior chain and this is often an undertrained aspect of ones body.  For those of you who lack the range of motion to lift the weight off the ground safely, I would suggest trying a elevated kettlebell deadlift as demonstrated by osteopath Heath Williams below.  The other option is to perform a rack pull (lifting the barbell from the safety racks) that can be raised to an appopriate height.
