Bracing The Core + Stability + Movement Plank Progression
In the video below you will see personal trainer and massage therapist Brad Bullock demonstrating a plank with elbows on the foam roller (challenging stability) + anterior/posterior movement of the arms which creates additional load and challenge in being able to maintain a braced position. This is a great progression on the standard plank and requires one to maintain stability of the trunk with movement of the arms. This can also be performed using a swiss ball (placing elbows on the swiss ball + rolling forwards/backwards).
