In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a banded multiplane bilateral and ipsilateral exercise routine. This is a great quick little drill to perform because it prepares the muscles around the shoulder girdle and back for training. You will see that he performs both bilateral band pull apart movements in the horizontal plane and also diagonal plane. You will also see him perform ipsilateral movements that require stabilising through one shoulder girdle whilst activating the other.
