The last few months has been an incredibly busy time for all of our team at Principle Four Osteopaths. In addition to clinical work, corporate occupational health and safety consulting and university teaching, we have also been attending post graduate courses to further our own learning in a quest to provide you with better treatment outcomes as well as undertaking our own health and fitness pursuits.
Rather than going into too much detail with regards to content in this blog post, I thought it might be easier to showcase some photos of what we have been up to.
Health and Fitness Training – Competitions – P4O osteopath Jarrod Testa has been training all year to compete in the Powerlifting Australia competition at the Fitness Expo in October. Big congrats to Jarrod who won his division in the U77kg category. He achieved an equal PB with the squat whilst getting a new PB with his bench press and deadlift.
From a professional development point of view, all of our osteopaths have been hard at work with regards to undertaking additional post graduate training. Some of the courses attended and completed over the last few months include: First Aid Level 2 & CPR refresher (Heath, Jarrod, Shaun), Lyn Watson Level 1 Shoulder Course (Shaun), Tactical Strength and Conditioning Level 1 Course with ASCA (Heath), Kinetic Link Training Level 1 Course (Shaun), Ian King Level 0 Course (Heath), Bruce Duncan Shoulder Techniques Workshop (Tim, Heath, Jarrod and Shaun), Osteoarthritis & Knee Treatment with Debra B (Heath, Jarrod, Shaun), Podiatry Clinical Workshop with Darcy Dore of The Foot and Ankle Clinic (Tim, Heath, Shaun and Jarrod). There are probably a few more there that I have forgot. At Principle Four Osteopathy we strive to be the best osteopaths that we can be and are continually upskilling ourselves to be able to offer you the most up to date and evidence based approach to treatment.
