Weighted Core Plate Rotation Exercise With Eye/Head Driver

Working the core can be as simple as holding a weight away from the body and trying to control it through movement.  In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a weighted plate rotation (through the frontal plane) where he maintains eye contact on the weight at all times.  The idea behind this exercise variation is that the eyes and head will often drive more movement through the body and therefore one will get a great training through a larger range of motion.  This exercise conditions ones shoulder girdle and trunk.
