Wall Squat With Med Ball Slide

The following exercise that is demonstrated by osteopath Heath Williams is a regression from the overhead squat position as it reduces the need for mobility through the shoulder/upper limb.  The individual is required to place hands behind the head and squat down using the med ball as a point of contact along the spine. This exercise drill can be useful for helping prescribe squatting movements with an upright trunk position.  Should this wall squat be challenging, we can further regress this to hands out in front to reduce the demand on the shoulder/upper limb.
