Same Side Walking Lunge – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy performing a same side walking lunge (this lunge involves stepping forwards with the same leg) rather than an alternating forward lunge.  This was prescribed as part of Heath’s lower body program which also included a squat, hinge and step up exercise.  The lunge is a great exercise because it can be tweaked to focus more on the hip or knee (depending on shin position and body movement i.e. vertical descent or vertical with anterior descent).
