Hip and Back Mobility Meets Upper Body Strength Training
In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams combining both mobility with strength through the blending of the frog stretch (hip adductor focus) and back/shoulders (thoracic spine, latissimus dorsi) with the push up (back, shoulders, chest and triceps). This allows one to be both time efficient with mobility and strength work, but also be creative in their method of training. These ideas have been borrowed and stolen from the likes of yoga, movement prep, animal flow, zuu and general strength and conditioning.
