Bent Over Posterior Fly With Head Support 🙂

Sometimes when you are at home and you dont have all the equipment that you would normally have at the gym, you will have to get creative.  In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy performing a

bent over posterior fly using the table to support ones head on.  There is minimal load being placed through the head, but it allows Heath to get his torso into a position that is relatively parallel to the ground to allow for a more true horizontal flexion/extension movement in the arms.

The posterior fly is one of my favourite back and shoulder exercises because it focuses on those muscles around the shoulder girdle and mid to upper back.
