Tall Kneeling Straight Arm Pull Down / Back and Core Training

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a tall kneeling straight arm pull down.  The straight arm pull down is a great exercise for the back (lats) and when combined with the tall kneeling position one must look to create stability through the hips and trunk which requires bracing of the trunk (essentially a modified vertical trunk plank).  Next time you are looking to train the back, look to vary the position it is performed in so that you demand and challenge other aspects of the body to maximise training time and efficiency.
