The FreeForm Board is one of those tools that is a must have for any exercise rehab, strength and conditioning or performance centre. It is so versatile and can be used with almost all conventional exercises to challenge ones mobility, stability and control. The board also allows for a great number of exercises that are unique to the freeform board to target different areas of the body.
In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams demonstrating a FreeForm Board Mountain Climber. The design of the board is such that this mountain climber is performed with 3 points of ground contact (2 hands and one foot on the freeform board) compared to the traditional mountain climber where the grounded foot is the rear foot instead of the driving foot. Both exercises are great but challenge different aspects of the body despite the similarities in movements.
