4 Point Kneeling / Quadruped Core Exercise

In the image below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a 4 point kneeling core exercise whereby they are required to raise the knees off the ground (1 – 2 inches) whilst maintaining a stable trunk position, hands under shoulders and normal breathing patterns.  The individual starts by getting onto all 4’s and placing their hands under their shoulders, knees under hips and finding a neutral trunk position.  They are then asked to raise the knees off the ground and to hold this position for a set period of time (you select) and perform a set number of reps (you choose).
