Static Quad Sit

In the image below you will see osteopath Heath Williams performing a static quad sit.  The quad sit is a great exercise to incorporate into ones training program should they be looking to load up the quadriceps with bodyweight.  Ideally one will perform a dynamic quad sit and one could introduce a static quad sit at a particular angle of the movement should you wish to focus on building strength and resilience at the particular angle.  Other great exercises that should be considered when training the legs with bodyweight also include squats, lunges, step ups/downs, single leg balance reaches, hip bridges, single leg deadlifts and deadlift patterning/hip hinges.
