Squat to Hamstring Stretch
In the exercise below you will see one of P4O clients performing a bodyweight squat to hamstring stretch. This is one of my favourite exercises for getting ready for squatting and release the ankles and hips. Please be mindful to move through the exercise slowly and listen to your body in terms of only moving through the range that is available. Do not force yourself through the movement. Try 3 – 4 sets of 10 – 15 reps and you will be feeling much more mobile with the bodyweight squat.
