Split Kneeling Stance Shoulder Press
In the image below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a split kneeling stance (on 2*4 piece of wood) shoulder press. The individual has been advised to be in a split kneeling stance on the wood as the change in environment will place a different demand on the body to adapt. They will be required to stabilise their body in a narrow stance and therefore engage their hip and core to create stability whilst performing a shoulder press (dynamic upper limb loaded movement).
