Barbell Rack Pull – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a barbell rack pull.  The rack pull is essentially a modified range of motion deadlift which involves the individual lifting the barbell off the rack (set at what ever height you like) and then lowering it down again.  I will usually start my clients on some form of modified range of motion deadlift when returning from back pain so to build on the technique (hip hinge with neutral spine).
