Powerband Hip Flexor Mobility Drill

The powerband is a great tool that can be used as an adjust to your everyday flexibility and mobility drills.  In the image below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy using a 41 inch powerband from Ironedge to create an anterior force whilst he is in a kneeling hip flexor stretch.  The idea is to hold this position, keep the gluteals tight and stay there for a good 30-60 second hold. Failure to maintain this position might mean the band tension is too great.

If you would like to find out more information about increasing your flexibility and mobility, then please book in to see us at the clinic.
