At Principle Four Osteopathy we pride ourselves on understanding strength training and how and why common injuries such as neck, shoulder, lower back and knee pain occur.  All of our osteopaths regularly lift weights and have a keen interest in this.  Osteopath Heath Williams recently completed the Level 1 Powerlifting Association coaches course to gain further insight into the 3 big lifts (bench press, deadlift and squat).  Heath has also completed both his level 1 and 2 Strength and Conditioning courses through the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association as well as having completed the FMS, SFMA, CAFS (Gray Institute) and 3DMaps (Gray Institute) to further his knowledge in movement and assessment.  In addition, he has also undertaken many other movement and exercise related courses.  If you are a powerlifter, crossfitter, body builder or someone who just loves training and has niggles, then be sure to book into see us at the clinic where we will do our best to help diagnose your issue, look at you lift and modify training where possible so that you can keep training and be told not to stop like many practitioners often say to do.
