Kneeling Stance Balance Exercises
In the image and video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams demonstrating a static balance beam kneeling stance and a kneeling stance with trunk rotation. In the first image (static balance beam kneeling stance) this requires one to balance on a narrow beam (9cm) which reduces ones base of support. This requires one to maintain both good hip and trunk stability. In the video you will see a progression on this where one is required to maintain good hip and trunk stability whilst introducing trunk rotation through arm/trunk rotation left and right.
