Floor Press Exercise With Exercise Pad Modification
In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a floor press (partial range bench press) with an exercise pad placed under their elbow. This modification was made because the bar would hit their chest before their elbow would hit the floor and the pad allows the individual to have a break point in the movement so that they can then look bench press from a static position should they wish to. This exercise was also selected so to allow the individual to perform a pushing movement without the elbows going past their midline.
