Early Stage Ankle Sprain Rehab

In the image below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients demonstrating some early stage rehab exercises (client was able to weight bear without and perform the following exercises without pain).  They self selected the range of motion through the exercises and performed these in pain free ranges. Please note, each and every ankle sprain and rehab should be tailored towards your needs.  Please consult your osteopath or physiotherapist before trying these out.  Exercises included at this stage include bilateral calf raise, single leg balance, wall supported squats (closed chain ankle loading) and static lunge (closed chain).
