Dynamic Leg Raise
The hanging leg raise is a common exercise usually performed within the gym environment to train the core. This usually involves hanging from straps at the elbows or hanging from the bar overhead. In the video below you will see a similar exercise but performed with the arms stabilising the body by the side. The aim of this particular exercise below was on range of motion rather than a slow and controlled movement. Often I will perform this exercise focusing on either range or slow/controlled with an isometric hold. Both are extremely challenging and one requires a good deal of mobility and strength and control.
