Developing the deep squat position- an osteopaths perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating an active squat that focuses on developing the deep squat (bottom phase of the squat) by using his hands to hold the feet to increase stability and control so that he can comfortable sit into this position.  The deep squat position is a challenge for many like myself who might be a little stiff through their feet/ankles, hips and spine.  This is a nice little drill that can be performed to help work on improving this position.
