Chin Tuck Exercise For The Office Worker and Manual Handling Worker

In the image below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy and Corporate Work Health Australia demonstrating a simple chin tuck exercise.  This involves you placing 1-2 fingers on your chin, keeping it level and then retracting your chin backwards whilst maintaining it parallel to the ground.  A common error seen is extension of the neck.  Note:  There should be no pain or discomfort felt during this exercise.  This is a great exercise to perform regularly (3-5 reps and gently moving in and out of this position) for the seated office worker or worker who is regularly manual handling and looking down.
