Birddog Shoulder Loaded Exercise Variations

In the videos below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy performing the birddog exercises with a light weight dumbbell in hands to add some additional load to the shoulder girdles in the flexion and horizontal flexion plane.  Rather than just perform a standing dumbbell shoulder raise (anterior or lateral), why not integrate them into another workout where by one must maintain good trunk and shoulder stability and control.  Make sure you start with light weights and build your volume slowly.
