Having suffered a number of shoulder complaints over the years due to a combination of training in the gym and wear and tear associated with work as an osteopath, Heath now ensures that he performs regular full range of motion exercises with light loads for his shoulders to keep them mobile and strong to deal with the demands of his day to day life. In the video below you will see Heath demonstrating just some of his favourite shoulder warm up exercises.

If you are are unsure where to start, start with just bodyweight first and then progress to 1/2 kg and slowly increase this weight as you start to feel more comfortable and stronger in the movements. Aim for 2- 3 sets and doing each exercise for 10-15 reps or 60-90 seconds.
