jarrod testa
Jarrod Testa is an osteopath with a strong background in exercise rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and movement coaching, helping people bridge the gap between pain and performance. He graduated from Victoria University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy), following earlier completion of a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Australian Catholic University in 2013.
Before and alongside his osteopathy training, Jarrod worked extensively as a personal trainer, beginning in 2012, and has accumulated thousands of hours coaching movement across gym, rehabilitation, and performance settings. This experience shapes his practical, outcomes-driven approach to care.
Jarrod’s clinical focus is on empowering people to move often and move well, combining hands-on osteopathy with structured exercise rehabilitation and strength-based strategies. He works with a broad range of clients — from office workers and tradespeople to recreational and elite athletes — tailoring care to support pain relief, improved movement, and long-term resilience.
In 2022, Jarrod was recognised by Osteopathy Australia as an Advanced Exercise Rehabilitation Osteopath, reflecting his expertise in integrating rehabilitation and strength principles into osteopathic care. He has also completed postgraduate training in strength and conditioning and mentorship programs focused on high-level movement coaching.
Outside the clinic, Jarrod has been strength training for over a decade and actively trains in powerlifting and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, giving him firsthand insight into the demands of training, recovery, and performance. He has lectured alongside internationally recognised coaches through JPS Education and has created online education resources aimed at improving exercise delivery within the allied health profession.
Jarrod believes everyone should have the opportunity to access their body’s full potential, regardless of background, injury history, or training experience.
