Working On The Squat Pattern When You Have Restricted Ankle ROM

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients demonstrating a heel raised wall squat.  This client came to the clinic wanting to improve their squat pattern so that they could work on this in their own training program.  As part of the full functional movement screen that was performed, it was identified that they have limited ankle mobility and rather than not have the client squat at all, their heels were raised to minimise the impact of the ankle restriction to allow them to pattern their squat whilst we continue to work on improving their ankle mobility.
