Weighted Chin Ups

The weighted chin up exercise is a great way to build a bigger and stronger back.  The additional load of the weight on top off ones body weight provides that overload component that will force the body to adapt and grow.  I would suggest cycling in some weighted chin ups into your training program every now and then to provide that stimulus that the body may need to get your over your training plateau if there is one with pull ups.  These are quite taxing on the body though, so allow for adequate rest when performing these.
