Using Reactive Neuromuscular Training Strategies For The Overhead Squat

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients using RNT strategy (first introduced to myself when I attended the FMS and SFMA courses).  The concept behind this strategy in this instance is to use the band to provide an anterior directional pull (pulling the individual into their area of compensation) so that they have to work against it and correct the movement error.  In this case the challenge was maintaing an upright trunk and shoulder position with the overhead squat.  This has been performed with low load, with the idea that we will look to add this in at our next consult.
