Training The Whole Body, Not Just Isolated Regions

In the videos below you will see VU osteopathy student Ema demonstrating a number of exercises that looks to integrate the whole body.  These include:

  1.  Anti rotation (anterior load hold) with lunge
  2. Anterior lunge with anterior band press
  3. High plank mountain climber with varied hip drivers (sagittal, frontal and transverse plane focus)
  4. Single leg balance hold to RDL with load (same side and opposite side weight hold)
  5. Modified birddog (knees off ground) with hip extension
  6. Split squat with varied weight holds (low, chest and above head hold)

These are just a few different examples of how one can integrate full body movements into their training program to challenge the body further.
