Swiss Ball Back Extension Exercises

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a swiss ball back extension exercise.  Performing a back extension movement pattern over the swiss ball is a great variation because it allows variation in how the movement is performed i.e. either the traditional hinge at the hips movement or with a segmental flexion/extension (from head position) movement.  I also like the fact that once can start from a relatively flexed position and extend the back until a neutral spine position is met should extension beyond neutral be a problem.
