Supine Band Pull Apart Exercise

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a supine band pull apart exercise to work on the posterior shoulder girdle muscles.  This position was selected for a number of reasons; 1.  The ground increases stability for the client 2.  The ground can act as external feedback for the client in their shoulders 3.  This client competes in the bench press and the positions is more specific to their exercise.  For those wishing to work on engaging their posterior shoulders (traps, rhomboids, serratus, lats etc).  The band pull apart is a must.
