Squat Mobility Drill

Below is a video of a recent squat mobility drill that I have started incorporating into my warm up and cool down phases on leg day.  The drill has the individual standing up against the wall and sliding down the wall maintaining the spine flat and allowing the hips to open up.  The aim is to get as low as possible without the heels raising off the ground or the back moving away from the wall.  In this video you will also see that I am holding a yellow 41 inch band from ironedge with some tension to work on upper shoulder mobility whilst in the bottom phase of the squat.  This part of the drill can be removed if you are just wanting to work on hip mobility.
