Split Kneeling Stance Barbell Overhead Press – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams performing a split kneeling stance (narrow stance) barbell overhead press.  He is using one of the bars that is usually used for chest supported rows (it has adjustable spacing for variable grip widths that can also be varied in grip position).  The split stance position is one that it often trained in addition to a bilateral standing stance as one must also stabilise their lower body and core whilst performing the press, therefore making it more demanding than an isolated overhead press i.e. seated overhead press.
