Spanish Squat

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a spanish squat.  The spanish squat involves setting up a bar below knee height and standing just in front of it and then squatting down using the bar as a fixed point of stability.  This exercise allows you to perform a squat movement with a vertical shin which may be useful for those individuals who find squatting with higher degrees of knee flexion and loading to be an aggravating factor.
