Sitting Posture | Are Your Varying Your Posture Regularly?

We all know that sitting for long periods (duration) of time without variation in movement  or posture (being static) may be a risk factor for musculoskeletal disorders.  The same can be said for standing in the one spots and not moving.  Therefore I thought I would put together a few simple Instagram posts on some of the many different floor sitting positions that we can adopt.  Now it is important to remember that this list is not exhaustive and just an example of some that can be adopted.  For those of you who have pre existing injuries to the lower limb or spine, please consult with your practitioner (osteopath, physiotherapist) prior to trying these.  With regards to advice around sitting time frames and how often you change postures, I would advise changing regularly.  I once heard a wise person (not sure who now) say that your best posture is your next posture and I like to encourage all of my clients to move often and regularly.
