Single Leg RDL with Wall Support – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a single leg RDL (romanian deadlift) where he uses the wall to support the mid point phase of the movement where stability and control is challenged the most.  This is a nice little way to allow oneself to train a heavier load or perhaps higher reps focusing on technique through the whole range of movement due to the added stability in the most difficult part of the exercise.  One could also look to modify their range of movement in the single leg RDL instead, however this offers the person the opportunity to exercise through the entire range.
