Single Leg Elevated Hip Bridge

In the image below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a single leg elevated hip bridge.  This has been used as a progression from single leg hip bridge performed on the ground as it requires the individual to perform a single leg hip bridge through a greater range of motion.  The reduced based of support (partial foot support on the box compared to foot on the ground) also increases the stability challenge.  Should one look to progress this further, you could look to progress this to a single leg hip bridge off a foam roller or swiss ball (therefore adding a further stability challenge).  The single leg hip bridge works ones gluteal and hamstring muscles.
