Single Leg Box Jump

In the video below osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrates a single leg box jump.  This is a great exercise and assessment tool as it allows you to compare your ability to generate lower limb power and compare your left to right side.  With all plyometric training, make sure you warm up appropriately, ensure you have a safe landing technique and start at lower heights and progress slowly.  When it comes to prescription of ploymetrics into your everyday training program, make sure you don’t overload by adding in way too many sets and reps.
