Single Arm Kettelbell Row – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a single arm kettlebell row whilst using the opposing hand to stabilise against the bar (a wall could also be used).  The legs which cannot be seen in the video are straight behind as you would be in a push up position.  This is a variation on the traditional bent over single arm row because you are required to stabilise through the non lifting hand which adds the extra challenge of stability through the upper limb and then the torso position.  This exercise will usually performed at a weight lower than the more traditional single arm row due to the increased demands on the body.
