Single Arm Dumbbell Row

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a single arm dumbbell row.  This is a great exercise for training the back in the horizontal plane and the benefit of adding some single arm work into ones routine is that it allows you to identify and train each arm one at a time which may allow you to address any imbalance between the left and right side of the body.  The single arm variation is also great because the range of motion allowed in the exercise is generally greater than the barbell row.
