Sandbag Training Exercises – Strength and Conditioning

Recently I had a weeks holiday break over the xmas period and my plan was to take my sandbag and train with this all week so that I could explore in more depth the versatility of the bag and use it for whole body training.  The sandbag is a great tool because of its unique design (sand moves within the bag and therefore the load is constantly changing).  Add to this the many hand holds available (single arm, bilateral, offset grips) makes this the ultimate training tool.  I would probably say that the sandbag along with the kettlebell are two of my favourite tools because you can literally perform 100’s of different exercises and they both take up very small space when travelling.  Below I have posted a good range of different exercises that one could incorporate into their training program.  In each of the videos there is a short descriptor of what the exercise is.
