Kinesiotaping, Rocktaping and other Dynamic taping methods are becoming very popular amongst the sports enthusiast and Crossfitting community.  I have been using Rocktape methods now for some time and have been using it in conjunction with manual therapy and other treatment techniques for soft tissue injuries, shoulder complaints, knee and foot/ankle injuries.   The dynamic tape is quite different to that of the more traditional rigid tape.  When applied it does not lock down and restrict an individuals movement like rigid tape.  Whilst there are only a small handful of research articles published on the use of dynamic tape, I believe the tape helps to provide the individual with increased proprioceptive feedback and some gentle support to an area.

If you would like to find out more about Rocktape and how it can be applied, be sure to check out the range of videos on the Rocktape website @ http://rocktape.com.au/videos/.
