Reverse Lunge With Varied Kettlebell Loading Patterns

In the video below osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrates a reverse lunge (to focus on ipsilateral loading of the lower limb) with varied kettlebell loading patterns (to challenge the individual to maintain torso and upper limb stabilisation).  This is a great exercise is it challenges the whole body (lower body, core and upper body) and requires the individual to adapt to many different training variables (lunge pattern for ipsilateral loading, alternating upper body kettlebell loading patterns – clean, overhead, ipsilateral and contralateral patterns) which requires one to adapt and control the movement through their torso (core) and lower limb and they move through the reverse lunge.
