Push Up Grip Variations

Next time you are out and about doing a workout that includes push ups, why not try varying your grip in order to challenge the body and build strength in the push pattern across varying hand grips.  Many times we focus on performing a specific exercise in the same manner over and over.  Whilst this is a great strategy if you have a specific goal of lifting maximal weights (often we want to perfect and perform the best technique for a particular lift i.e. bench press), when it comes to accessory training or bodyweight training I would recommend varying things up with regards to your training (and not just sets, reps etc) to create a constantly changing stimulus that the body has to adapt to.
