Why would an Osteopathy clinic have this equipment?

All of our osteopaths have an interest in exercise prescription and rehabilitation and we only thought it fair that we offer the same equipment that we located at our city clinic.  This will allow your osteopath to take you through an exercise and rehabilitation program using this equipment to help with your complaint.

So what is involved?

Your osteopath will take you through a comprehensive movement assessment to identify areas that may be tight, lack mobility and or require strengthening.  Based on these findings, we can help prescribe you an exercise program to suit your needs and goals.  If you are already exercising regularly, your osteopath can assess your technique and provide advice on how to improve this so that you don’t develop any training related injuries.

Will you help with my exercise program?

Sure.  Many people often find themselves doing the same exercise program month after month.  For those that don’t stop due to boredom, you may find that your progress has stalled.  Our osteopaths can provide advice and help write you an exercise program that is suited to your needs.

What if I aren’t a member of a gym or don’t have any equipment at home?

No problems at all. If you are not a member of a gym or have access to this equipment, we will provide you with an exercise and rehabilitation program that suits your needs and will allow you to exercise in your own home environment or outdoors if you desire.

What should I do if I want  to train using gym equipment?

Why not try Yoga or Pilates.  The benefit of Principle Four Osteopathy being located within a Pilates and Yoga Studio and Personal Training studio means that we can refer you to a yoga class, pilates class or small group or individual personal training class at either Pilates on Bourke, Pilates on Collins or Jon Weller Personal Training Studio.
